Icy road results in accident

Two Pennsylvania residents were injured in a one car accident on State Route 14 just north of Dresden on Dec. 5 around 7:30 p.m. 

Pamela L. Emery, 58 of 1215 Market St., Williamsport, Pa., lost control of her 1999 Toyota on the icy roadway.  The vehicle exited the east side of the highway and rolled over several times. 

The Dresden Fire Department assisted Penn Yan Fire Department in the extrication of the occupants.  Pamela Emery complained of head, neck, back and wrist pain.  A passenger, William G. Emery, 42, of the same address, complained of pain to the head, neck and back. Both were transported to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital by Penn Yan Ambulances. Medic 55 and New York State Police assisted at the scene. Deputies Jeffrey Rider and Charles Emerson were the responding officers.
