Penn Yan Police report for December 31, 2008

David A. Roedts, 38, of Exchange St., Geneva, was arrested Dec. 27 for reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with greater than .08 percent blood alcohol content. Village police arrested Roedts following a complaint from a village resident after Roedts allegedly swerved at the resident’s vehicle. Officers located Roedts on North Ave., Penn Yan, and determined that he was intoxicated after giving him field sobriety tests. A breathalyzer test at the Yates County Public Safety Building showed a .09 percent blood alcohol content. Roedts was released pending court on Dec. 29.
