Deputies charge 14-year-old in Dundee bomb threat today

A 14-year-old juvenile has been arrested by Yates County Sheriff Deputies and charged with falsely reporting an incident in the first degree after investigation into a reported bomb threat at Dundee Central School today.

The school was evacuated while K-9 units from New York State Police, Yates and Ontario Counties searched the building.

Deputy RIchard Simpson reports that after an investigation it was determined that the juvenile who reported the incident was the one who actually made the threat. The juvenile has been referred to family court to answer the charge.
