Penn Yan Police urge motorists to buckle up

The Penn Yan Police Department will conduct a heightened mobilization regarding the enforcement of the New York State seat belt laws from May 23 to June 5 in conjunction with the Buckle Up New York campaign.

Police urge motorists to "Buckle Up" for safety.

Police Chief Mark Hulse says there will be additional patrols dedicated during this time to enforce a zero tolerence policy regarding the seatbelt laws.
