Three Yates County residents are still listed in guarded condition at Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital.

Erma Zimmerman, 14, suffered extremely severe leg injuries when she became entangled in a manure auger on her family's farm May 31 in Jerusalem.

Gary Malcom, 62, suffered internal injuries when his lawn tractor tumbled into a 30-foot-deep ravine May 22 in Jerusalem.

Michael Mashewske, 9,  suffered third degree burns over 60 percent of his body while trying to relight a campfire with gasoline in his backyard May 8 in Penn Yan.

Strong Memorial lists patients by only two classifications – satisfactory and guarded – with guarded being the most serious condition.
