A one-car crash on the corner of Lake To Lake Road and East Lake Road Tuesday injured three people — including a Canandaigua man who was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital for a possible head injury — according to Ontario County sheriff’s deputies.

A vehicle turning onto Lake To Lake Road from County Road 1 at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday — driven by Emily J. Calescibetta, 17, of 1365 Friend Road, Penn Yan — took the corner too fast, deputies said. She lost control of the vehicle, which left the south side of Lake to Lake Road and struck a ditch. All three people in the car were wearing seatbelts, and the air bags deployed.

Rear seat passenger Robert M. Dickinson, 18, of 4637 Blue Bird Road, Canandaigua, was flown to Strong by Mercy Flight for a possible head injury. No additional information on him was availble Wednesday morning. Calescibetta and passenger Jonathan Keech, 17, of 4532 White Way, Canandaigua, were taken by ambulance to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua to be checked over.

Calescibetta was charged with failing to reduce speed.

Assisting were Crystal Beach Fire, Rushville Fire, Canandaigua Ambulance and Middlesex Valley Ambulance.
