UPDATE: Boy injured in Yates County farm accident upgraded to fair condition

UPDATE: The four-year-old boy injured in Monday's farm equipment accident near Dundee, has been upgraded to fair condition by Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Suffering from a fractured skull and other injuries, the boy was airlifted to Upstate's Trauma Center, where he was originally listed in critical condition.

The  accident occurred at approximately 5:40pm Nov. 5, on South Glenora Road in Dundee, NY.

The four-year-old boy was on the back of a piece of farm equipment on the family farm when the machine was struck by another piece of farm equipment.  His father was sitting in the second machine when it rolled towards the first, striking it and  causing the injury. Both pieces of equipment were not running at the time of the accident.
