Yates County Deputies arrested an adolescent offender after an investigation into damage that occurred during the overnight hours June 7 and 8 at the Dundee Central School and Spring Street Park in the village of Dundee.

Eleven school buses, the one room school house, and a sign were damaged at the school. A park bench was damaged at the Spring Street Park.

The adolescent is accused of causing damage to the property with spray paint and by breaking mirrors and stop signals on the school busses. The damages at the two locations are expected to total approximately $1,500. Deputies say the adolescent will answer the charge in the Youth Part of the Supreme Court later.
