Keuka College's Ball Hall

Keuka College has received a $769,165 Higher Education Capital (HECap) matching grant for the Ball Hall renovation.

The HE Cap board approved $52 million in funding for 40 projects at 33 colleges in New York state.

“I want to thank Assemblyman Jim Baccales and Sen. George Winner for their efforts in securing these funds for Keuka College,” said College President Joseph G. Burke. “These two legislators understand that Ball Hall is the centerpiece of our campus and holds a special place in the hearts of alumni. They also recognize how important Keuka College is to the economic vitality of our region.”

The renovation of Ball Hall is virtually complete; all that remains is some final details and landscaping. The College plans to celebrate the renovation and the successful completion of The Campaign to Save Ball June 14.

The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) administers the HECap program. DASNY administers a number of grant programs for both the Senate and the Assembly, some of which involve other State agencies such as the State Education Department, the Department of Health, and the Office of Children and Family Services.
