Dundee Theaterites present Arsenic & Old Lace Friday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The Dundee Central School Theaterites Club will be presenting Joseph Kesselring’s “Arsenic & Old Lace” for their fall production. It will be directed by Kyle Knapton and Rachel Stephansky.

Remembered as the hilarious Carey Grant movie from the 1940’s, this play tells the tale of two sweet little old ladies, Abby and Martha (Esther Ninos and Danielle Morgan), who have added poisoning lonely old men to their long list of charities.

Their nephews, Mortimer and Jonathan (Owen Malay and Shea Maloy), each have their own reasons to keep this charity a secret. Joined by a crazy nephew (Chris Knapp) who believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt, the love interest, Elaine (Loren Maru-sarz), and an assistant, Dr. Einstein (Caleb Slater), they all collide in the same house on an evening in October for murder, mayhem, and laughter.

“Come see these talented students perform Arsenic and Old Lace in the Dundee Central School Auditorim,” urges Knapton.
