Daniel Burdette is a member of the Boys Scouts Of America Troop 44. He is working to complete his Eagle Scout Project to benefit the Needs n’ Things Pantry located in the Yates County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

This is an organization that supplies families in need with things which cannot be purchased with food stamps.

To collect supplies, he will be going from house to house in Penn Yan on March 12 distributing flyers which give details to his project.

The following Saturday, March 19, the donations will be picked up between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Donations can be left in a bag or box in a visible place so they can be picked up on the 19th.

The pantry is in need of the following items: toilet paper, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, diapers, laundry soap, tissues, cleaning supplies, paper towels, shaving cream, baby wipes, and lotion. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and if there are any questions, you can call 315-531-8581.
