The sun beamed on the Dundee Class of 2017 — 51 strong — as they took the famous walk down the schoolyard hillside on June 22.

Dundee’s 78th ceremony included the presentation of a diploma to Wayne Leroy Campbell, who left the school before graduating to join the service during the Vietnam War.

Valedictorian Calley Knapp and Salutatorian Alexa Wilderotter addressed their classmates.

Superintendent Kelly Houck presented the class and diplomas were conferred by Board of Education President James Koehler

Twenty-six of the Dundee graduates will go on to college while 20 will enter the workforce and six enter the military.
