The Yates County Republican Committee (YCRC) has announced the endorsement of Republican candidates in the Nov. 3 general election:
• County Sheriff: Ronald Spike
• County Clerk: Lois Hall
• County Coroner: Brian Champlin
• County Legislature:
District 1 (Jerusalem, Middlesex, Italy, four seats): Ed Bronson, Gary Montgomery, Elden Morrison, Douglas Paddock
District 2 (Benton, Potter, Torrey, three seats): Terry Button, Timothy Dennis, Jim Smith
District 3 (Milo, four seats): Dan Banach, Leslie Church, P. Earle Gleason, Mark Morris
District 4 (Barrington, Starkey, three seats) Bill Holgate, Jim Multer, Bonnie Percy

The Republican Party annual dinner will be held Oct. 22 at Esperanza Mansion, Route 54A, Branchport. Social hour will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and dinner and program will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Arcadio Casillas, Finance Chair, New York State GOP, a Trustee of the Republican National Finance Committee and a member of the George W. Bush Presidential Center National Finance Committee.
