PY and Whitman grapplers compete in Port Byron Invitational

The Penn Yan Mustang and Marcus Whitman Wildcat Wrestling teams competed in the Annual Port Byron Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at the Wayne County school.  The Whitman Wildcat team finished in fourth place with 155.5 team points.  The Mustang grapplers came in 12th place with 29 total team points. 

Individaully, Penn Yan’s Justin Galusha captured second place in the 152 lbs. weight class.  Brother Robert Galusha scored a seventh place finish in the 215 lbs. class.

For the Whitman Wildcats, Anthony Robarge finished in fourth place at 112 lbs.

Ryan Eagley sixth place at 119 lbs.  Marcis Worboys fifth place at 125 lbs.  Jesse Rosato 3rd place at 135 lbs. 

Dakota Robarge second place at 140 lbs. and Josh Hill 2nd at 171 lbs. 

The Wildcat’s Nick Pascazi was the champion in the 145 lbs. class.
