The Dundee Boy’s Basketball squad, on the strength of a 21-14 run in the opening quarter, defeated the Bloomfield Bombers 65-52 in a contest played in Bloomfield on Wednesday evening.

The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday evening but winter weather conditions forced a postponement to Wednesday night.   The Bombers closed the gap to 31-28 at the half, but the Scots outscored their hosts 34-24 the rest of the way to secure the league win.

Dundee completed their regular season schedule with an overall 17-3 record, their best in over a decade. They finished in second place in the Finger Lakes West with a 12-3 record.

Rocky Martini delivered 25 points to lead the Maroon and White attack.  Brent Ayers added 15 points including 5 of 5 from the charity stripe. Mason Brown chipped in 11 points.

The Scotsmen were awarded a #2 seed in the Section V Class C Tournament.  They will play #15 Pavilion at home on Tuesday evening, Feb. 19.
