Mustang and Scots boy bowlers keep winning

The Penn Yan Mustang Boys Bowling team scored a huge 4-0 win over a strong Geneva Panthers team on Wednesday afternoon at Doug Kent's Lakeside Lanes in Penn Yan. 

The Mustangs registered 100 pins in every game to pile up a 3,232 aggregate dominating the Panthers 4-0.

Junior Ryan Johnson scored a 700 series with games of 268, 199 and 233.  Chris Rossman added a 647 (214-263-210), Dan Fox a 631 (220-232), Derrick Fleischman a 629 (212-204-213), and Eric Pulver a 625 (236).

Geneva 4

On the girls side, the Lady Mustangs fell to Geneva 4-0.  Brooke Parsons rolled a 454 (193) for Penn Yan (10-6).  The Mustang Boys improved their season record to 15-1.

Marcus Whitman 4

Newark 0

The Marcus Whitman Girls Bowling team scored a 4-0 shutout win over Newark in Hopewell on Wednesday afternoon.  Jaimee Schweigert keyed the Wildcat win with a 508 series (170-168-170).  Hannah Bowman scored a team high game of 179 for Whitman(8-8).

The Marcus Whitman Boys team fell to Newark 3-1.  Jeremy Armison registered a 652 set and 268 single game high for the Wildcats (6-10).  He also rolled a 204 middle game.  Whitman grabbed the third game to avoid the shutout.

Dundee 4

The Dundee Scots Boys Bowling put off against a very good Honeoye team on Thursday afternoon at the Family Fun Center in Dundee. 

The Scots and the Bulldogs are two of the top teams in the Finger Lakes West.

The Dundee boys outscored Honeoye 2739 to 2500 to shutout the previously undefeated Bulldogs 4-0. 

Devon Miller led the Scots with a 623 series (204-226-193).  Jack Jayne added a 562 (201).  Alex Sullivan rolled a 552 (213) for Dundee (15-1).

On the girl's side, Dundee lost to Honeoye 3-1.  Honeoye suffered their first lost point of the season in this match. Loren Marusarz rolled a 458 series for Dundee (11-4-1).
