The Dundee Scotsmen ended their 2009 regular season schedule the same way they ended the 2008 season, as Champions of the West.

The Scots scored 27 straight points in a little over a half of Saturday's game against South Seneca and then held off the stubborn Falcons late in the game to post a 34-19 win.

The victory improved Dundee's season record to 6-0 and gave them a share of the Finger Lakes West title with Clyde-Savannah.

The Scots do not play the Golden Eagles in the regular season. The Class D champion Scotsmen will be seeded No. 1 in the upcoming Section V Class D Tournament.

They will host Bolivar-Richburg this Saturday in the opening round of the tourney.

Dundee raced to a 27-0 lead against South Seneca on Saturday with a balanced running attack.

Ryan Ballard opened the scoring with a 32- yard touchdown scamper early in the opening quarter.

Steven Webb rambled 13 yards for touchdown number two shortly after. Ryan Ballard ran in the two point conversion and the Scots quickly led 14-0.  Quarterback Thomas Pratt III closed out the first half scoring with a two yard scoring run.  Katie Zebrowski nailed the extra point kick and the first half ended with the hometown Scots enjoying a 21-0 lead.

The Scotsmen added six more points in the third quarter with Pratt connecting with Steven Webb on a 61-yard scoring strike.

South Seneca answered with their first touchdown of the afternoon narrowing Dundee's lead to 27-6 after three quarters.

Dundee scored their final touchdown of in the opening minutes of the fourth period.  Steven Webb scored his 24th touchdown of the season on a 20 yard run.  Zebrowski connected on the P.A.T. kick and Dundee led 34-6.

The Scotsmen cruised the rest of the way. The hard working Falcons scored two touchdowns late to narrow the deficit to 34-19. The 19 South Senca points were the most points scored against Dundee in a game this season.

Offensively, senior running back Steven Webb led the way for the Scots.

He rushed for 137 yards on 11 carries and scampered for two touchdowns.  Webb also caught a touchdown pass.  He has been an amazing scoring machine this season. Steven Webb was named the Ontario Honda Section V Class D Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Webb gained this honor for week five with his six touchdowns and 296 yard rushing performance last week against Lyons.

Dundee's football experience last year took them all the way to the State Class D Western final in Buffalo.

They are geared to try to make a return appearance this season.

This football journey begins this weekend with their opening round game against Bolivar-Richburg.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Dundee.
