Kokanees trio takes first place; Emma Willing takes first in figures

The Keuka Kokanees Synchronized Swim team hosted the first meet of the year, the Niagara Association Junior Championship on Feb 5, 2011 at Bristol Pool, Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva. This was a qualifier for the East Zone Junior Championship being held in Haverhill, Mass. next weekend.

Teams at this meet were from New York: Tonawanda, Rochester, and Oswego, and from Brecksville and Shenango Valley, Ohio.

Results:

Trio: Kristin Oswald, Emma Willing and Abby Arnold took first out of five

Solo: Abby Arnold placed second out of seven.

In figure competition with 30 competitors, Emma Willing took first, Abby Arnold sixth and Kristin Oswald seventh.
