Penn Yan hosts Section V Class B-C meet

Penn Yan's Mustang Field was the site of the Section V Class B and Class C Track and Field meet this past Saturday.  Thirty four schools in Section V traveled to Penn Yan for the day long event.  Both boys and girls events were contested for both classifications.  

For the local squads, the Penn Yan Mustang boy's team finished in eighth place among the 15 Class B teams.  

Penn Yan's Chris Weeden came in fourth in the 400, Geoff Rouin garnered a second place in the 1,600 and 3,200.  Ray Mashewske finished in fourth place in the shot put event.  The Mustang boy's 4 x 400 relay team came in fourth place and their 4 x 800 relay team garnered a sixth place finish.  The Lady Mustang team finished in 14th place overall.

In the Class C competition, the Dundee Scot boy's team finished in 14th place and the Lady Scots team finished in 18th place.
