Penn Yan Girls start season on a high note

Steve Willson won his varsity coaching debut for the Penn Yan Mustangs with a 46-34 win over the Dundee Scots on December 3rd in Dundee.

Dundee was initially leading at halftime, but Penn Yan took control of the second half to cruise to a double digit win. Mustang junior Taylor Travis led the Mustangs with 13 points, while seniors Brianna Bush, Katrina Wright, and Ashley Harling had ten, nine, and eight points respectively.

The Scots were led offensively by freshman Brooke Howell's 12 points, and Tristine Dombroski's 11 points.

The Mustangs start the year at 1-0, while the Scots' begin the season sitting at 0-1.
