Dundee Girls Basketball: Scots lose twice

The Dundee Girls' Basketball team lost both of their two games last week against Red Jacket and Bloomfield.

The Red Jacket Indians defeated Dundee 58-34 on December 12th. Brooke Howell filled the stat sheet for the Scots with eight points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks. Bailey Hixson led the Indians with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six blocks. Meghan Gerlock and Shanty Hawke scored ten and nine points for the Indians.

Three nights later, Bloomfield beat Dundee 37-31. Dundee trailed 16-15 at halftime but allowed the Bombers to outscore them by a couple points each quarter of the second half to lose by six. Sami Clark and Brooke Howell both scored nine points to lead the Scots. Bloomfield's scoring was led by Audra Beechler's 16 and Mackenzie Henderson's ten points.

Dundee's record drops to 1-3 on the year.
