Penn Yan Bowling: Mustangs face mixed results

The Penn Yan Academy Bowling team matched up against the Geneva Panthers at Lakeside Lanes on December 20th.

Penn Yan's Boys' squad defeated the Panthers 5-2, outscoring Geneva by a 3,180-2,968 margin. Dan Fox, Anthony Ottaviano, and Pete Fox led the Mustangs with matches of 729, 650, and 646 respectively. Mark Pitifer and Zach Logue bowled matches of 629 and 619 for the Panthers.

The Mustang Girls' team did not fare as well, as they were swept 7-0 by a margin of 2,367-2,099. Steph Lozada and Felicia Truly bowled matches of 543 and 531. Mustangs Courtney Ottaviano and Brooke Parsons rolled matches of 510 and 465 for Penn Yan.

The Mustang Boys' record jumps to 43-6, while the Girls' record sits at 25-24.
