PY Boys Lacrosse: Mustangs' undefeated bid foiled by Baldwinsville

The Penn Yan Boys Lacrosse team beat Bath-Haverling but fell to Baldwinsville last week for their first loss of the season.

The Mustangs beat Bath-Haverling 16-2 on May 1st. Rion Davison led Penn Yan with four goals and three assists, while Bradley Voigt had three goals and four assists. Ryan Maciejewski and Corey Grace both scored twice, with Maciejewski tallying three assists. Dylan Yonts had a goal and two assists, Sean Emerson had a goal and an assist, and Colby Treat, Jeremy Bunn, and James Burdette each had one goal for the Mustangs. Penn Yan sophomore goalie Brandon Maciejewski had four saves.

Last Saturday, the Mustangs fell to Baldwinsville 9-8. Penn Yan trailed 5-1 at halftime. Yonts and Ryan Maciejewski both had two goals and two assists, while Voigt had two goals as well. Davison and Jordan Owen both scored once, while Colby Treat had two assists. Brandon Maciejewski made seven saves in net for the Mustangs.

No longer undefeated, the Mustangs are now 11-1.
