PY Girls Lacrosse: Mustangs lose to Geneva, stomp Mynderse

The Penn Yan girls lacrosse team lost to Geneva last week but crushed Mynderse.

The Mustangs lost to Geneva on April 30th. The Mustangs led 5-4 at halftime but fell 14-7. Penn Yan freshman Courtney Lafler led the Mustangs with three goals and an assist, while junior Sam Steinert scored twice. Freshmen Heather Conklin and Ashley Jensen both added a goal for Penn Yan. Mustang goalie Leah Swarthout made ten saves in net.

Last Friday, the Mustangs stomped Mynderse by a wide margin, but an exact score is undetermined, and all other information unknown at press time.

The Mustangs' record is now 5-6.
