Dundee Girls Basketball: Scots earn pair of victories

Dundee Girls Basketball pulled out a pair of road victories last week.

Last Tuesday, the Scots edged Prattsburgh 41-40. Dundee trailed by seven entering the final quarter, but tied the game at 40 with a minute remaining on a Tristine Dombroski layup. Sophomore center Brooke Howell then put up the final point with a free throw, winning the game for Dundee with 40 seconds remaining. Howell led Dundee with a double-double, scoring 15 points and snagging 20 rebounds. Megan Howell scored seven points, while Dombroski added six points.

Two days later, the Scots beat South Seneca 42-33 on the road. Megan Howell and Elyana Eldridge led Dundee with 10 points apiece, while Samantha Clark added eight points.

With the wins, Dundee improves to 5-10 on the year.
