PY Boys Lacrosse: Mustangs wrap up regular season with pair of victories

Penn Yan Boys Lacrosse finished the regular season last week with a pair of victories.

The Mustangs defeated Bath-Haverling on the road 20-2. Penn Yan junior Bradley Voigt had five goals and five assists, while classmate Andrew Perl had four goals and an assist. Mustang senior Ryan Maciejewski had two goals and eight assists, while junior Rion Davison had three goals and an assist. Mustang freshman Tyler Lambert scored three goals, while freshman Sean Emerson scored a pair of goals. Penn Yan senior Corey Grace had a goal and an assist, while Austin Fingar and Brett McMichael both had assists. Mustang junior goaltender Brandon Maciejewski made four saves.

Last Friday, Penn Yan beat Clarence 12-4 at home. Perl scored five goals, Ryan Maciejewski had three goals and five assists, Voigt scored twice and had three assists, and Davison scored twice with an assist. Brandon Maciejewski made ten saves in net for Penn Yan.

Penn Yan finishes the regular season 11-4. They have earned the No. 2 seed in the Section V Class C Sectional Tournament, setting the Mustangs on a collision course with No. 1 seeded Geneva, who beat Penn Yan 10-3 several weeks ago in Penn Yan.
