PY/Dundee Track and Field: Dundee Boys, Penn Yan Girls fare well at League Championships

Penn Yan and Dundee Track and Field both competed at the Wayne-Finger Lakes League Championships last Friday.

The Dundee Boys finished fifth of 22 schools, while Penn Yan did not recieve a score. The Scots' 4x100m team finished first. Jon Huber took fifth in the 100m dash for Dundee, while teammate Michael Koehler took fourth place in the 200m dash. Chris Cramer finished third in the 400m hurdles for the Scots, while Greg Ellison finished third in the shot put and second in the discus throw. John Kissell finished fourth in the shot put for Dundee.

Penn Yan's Girls Team finished seventh of 23 schools, while the Dundee Girls took 23rd place. Junior Heather Andersen took second in the 200m dash, the 400m dash, and the high jump, while Evelyn Pinneo and Leah Van Son took fourth and fifth in the 2000m steeplechase. The Mustang Girls took third in the 4x400m run relay.
