The Dundee Scots girl's basketball team continues to pile up victories. The Scots hosted South Seneca Thursday evening in another Finger Lakes West showdown with the Section V tournament looming on the horizon. In a nip-and-tuck battle, Dundee held off the Seneca Lakers 59-55.

Dundee trailed by 3 points at the half, 21-18. But a 22-13 run in the third quarter turned things around for the hometown five. South Seneca tried to rally in the final stanza, but come up short.

Megan Howell led the Dundee offense with 19 points. She also pulled off 5 steals on defense. Demi Battin added 15 points to the winning Dundee effort. Brooke Howell and Tayler Morrison added 9 and 8 points respectively. Dundee's record improves to 10-1 in the league and 13-1 overall. Up next for the Scots, a trip to Naples Feb. 4.
