Boy's Basketball: Dundee wins Section V opener; defeats Red Jacket 61-28

The Dundee Scots boy's basketball team advanced to the Section V Class C-2 quarter-finals with an easy 61-28 victory over Red Jacket in Dundee on Tuesday night. This was the third time the Scots have defeated their Finger Lakes West rival this season. The win pushed Dundee's record to an impressive 16-3. The Scotsmen , the number 4 seed, will advance to take on Kendall, the number 5 seed. The game will be played Friday evening, Feb. 27, at a site to be determined.

The high-powered Dundee offense featured a well balanced cast of scorers in the win over Red Jacket. Jarrett Butler led the Maroon and White charge with 14 points. Bobby Strait contributed 12 points while Andrew Clark and Cole Hartman chipped in 10 points each.
