Marcus Whitman boys rack up 15th straight win

The Marcus Whitman Wildcat boy's basketball team started their season by dropping their first two games in December. But since then, the soaring Wildcats have not lost a game. On Thursday night in Gorham, Marcus Whitman scored their 15th straight win with a 69-40 romp over South Seneca. The MW Wildcats are a perfect 15-0 in Finger Lakes West action and clinched the Finger Lakes West championship over a week ago. They look to be a solid contender for a Section V crown when the Sectional tournament begins next week.
Whitman's big win over South Seneca was paced by a 16-point, 10-rebound performance by Riley McLoud and a 16-point scoring night by teammate Nick Young. Gavin McCumiskey added 11 points and 8 boards while Burlin Allen added 10 points and 11 assists.
