Track & Field: PY's Andrew Davis; Dundee's Huber, Salvatore, 4x100 relay team, Whitman's Button win at Section V meet

The Section V High School Track and Field Championship was held at SUNY Brockport Saturday, May 30. The three local high school track and field programs competed in this day long event.

On the boy's side, Penn Yan's Andrew Davis finished first in two events. The talented Mustang runner won the 3,000 steeplechase event and garnered a first place finish in the 3,200 m run. The Mustang boy's finished tied for 6th place in the Class B competition.

In the Class C/D meet, Dundee's Jon Huber captured first place in the 100m and 200m sprints. Huber joined teammates Geordan Conyers, Chris Cramer, and Cody Salvatore to win the 4 x 100 relay event for the Scotsmen. Cody Salvatore also won the triple jump event. The Dundee boy's team finished in 2nd place behind Geneseo. The Scotsmen team garnered 113 total points.

In the girl's competition, Marcus Whitman's Audrey Button grabbed titles in two events. She won the 2,000 steeplechase event and also scored a first place finish in the 3,000 m run. The Wildcat girl's team finished tied for 12th place in Saturday's competition.
