Yan passed away on
Christmas day from complications due to Marfan
Syndrome. The family received friends at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 332 Main St., Penn Yan on Tuesday, January 3 from 12-2 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Doug was born in Corning, the son of Fred and Clara Davis. He graduated from Corning-Painted Post West High School in 1975. He worked for CVS for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Vicky Davis; brother Don (Jackee) Davis; sister Darlene Spencer; sister-in-law Geraldine Gross; brothers-inlaw Gerald (Carolyn) Killigrew, James (Darcy) Killigrew, and John (Laura) Killigrew; and many nieces and nephews, who knew their uncle Doug as “Uncle Emily” and “Uncle Abe”; and his beloved cats Caby and Kit.
