The Penn Yan Police Department is proud to announce the full-time hiring of Officer Wes Hines who has worked for the department in a part time capacity since 2019 and has full time experience as an officer in Watkins Glen. Hines is originally from South Carolina and moved to the area after high school. He attended college at Genesee Community College and is a graduate of the RPTA Police Academy in Batavia.
