On Sunday Dec.14, the third candle of the Advent wreath at Branchport Methodist was lit by Natalia Dereza, and her mother Tiffany. This candle, also known as the Sheperds candle, is pink or rose in color representing joy and celebration. The shepherds serve as the witnesses to Jesus birth and emissaries of joy. They received a message of joy from the angel. Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people.
