At the June 14 meeting of American Legion Post 355, Scholarship Chairman, Sheila Disbrow and Commander, Doug Gibbs, presented citations and checks for $1,000 to 2023 scholarship winners, Thomas Barden and Owen Bishop. Barden will attend SUNY Geneseo, with career plans to become a pediatrician. Bishop will attend Alfred University with career plans to become an engineer in ceramics or renewable energy.
