The shootings of Ralph Yarl and Kaylin Gillis, two beautiful, young children of God who simply ended up at the wrong house, make it clear to us that these events are not merely random accidents but byproducts of a culture of gun violence so deeply fixed in our social psyche.

A brief business meeting covering the Friends’ activities and support of PYPL over the past year will be followed by an informative presentation on the history of the library: how and why it was formed and who played a role in it.
