PENN YAN – Most area residents and running aficionados are aware that there are two triathlons in the Penn Yan area every summer – the Keuka Lake Triathlon in June, and the Peasantman Steel Distance Triathlons in August. The events’ organizers have announced that both races are now under the management of Race Director Joe McMahon and First Knight Racing. “The races themselves have not changed one bit,” says McMahon, “they’re just under the same management now.”

PENN YAN — Camp Invention, a nationally recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment camp program, is coming to Yates Community Center the week of Aug. 21.
