PENN YAN - In November, Yates County Judge Jason Cook was elected to one of two open seats on the bench of the State Supreme Court, 7th District. Thursday, Dec. 22, Cook was sworn in for that new position in his own courtroom, and by its previous presider, retired Yates County Judge Patrick Falvey.
