PENN YAN - Nominations are currently being accepted for the PYA Athletic Hall of Fame, which recognizes teams, individual athletes, coaches, and significant contributors for their outstanding athletic accomplishments or contributions to the Penn Yan Academy athletic program. Nominations will be accepted through June 15 and will be reviewed and voted on by members of the Hall of Fame committee.
The Finger Lakes Chorale, a community chorus based at Finger Lakes Community College, will perform works kept by the late Ella Cripps, of Gorham, who was a central figure in music and theatre for well over half a century. She passed away in 2015 at the age of 88.
