PYA alum goes to NCAA Semifinals

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Penn Yan's own Caitlin Wunder was instrumental in bringing NCAA East Division II volleyball champs the Bentley University Falcons into the Division II national semifinals for the first time in the program's history, helping her team win their 5-set match over the tournament's #1 seed, the Ferris State Bulldogs. The Falcons entered the national tournament as the #8 seed.

I have believed for a long time that the atmosphere formed through social media often resembles a barroom full of regulars who stop in to catch up with their friends and foes to debate current events. Community Table 2024 raises $22K for Our Town Rocks and The Living Well

YATES COUNTY - The Community Table Dinner takes place the first Saturday of September each year, where hundreds gather over a communal farm-to-table meal to raise funds for a different local charity in Yates County. While the dinner is typically held on the Main Street Bridge in Penn Yan, this is the second year where less than ideal weather moved the event to a rain location.
