Watkins Glen International moves NASCAR Weekend to May

WATKINS GLEN – The NASCAR race weekend at Watkins Glen International will have a fresh look in 2026 as the early-season hopes of NASCAR's three national series will spring up at the historic road course over Mother's Day weekend in May, NASCAR announced with its full schedule for next year. The Go Bowling at The Glen race weekend, May 8-10, 2026, will once again play host to the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.

A great Peasantman for 2025!

PENN YAN -- First Knight Racing thanks everyone who participated in this year's Peasantman Triathlon - from the local towns and villages to all the volunteers, and of course the athletes themselves. "We battled some choppy waters and strange weather, but a few course records did fall - in the Women's Full Steel Aquabike, the Men's Sprint, and the Men's Intermediate Duathlon," say race organizers.

Finger Lakes Community Health awarded $3.5 million to build new health center

PENN YAN -- Finger Lakes Community Health (FLCH) is pleased to announce the award of a $3.5 million grant from the New York State Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program IV. The grant will help fund the construction of a new state-of-the-art health center in Penn Yan, strategically located next to the Yates Community Center on North Main Street.
