PENN YAN - Last Tuesday night, Jan. 21, immediately following the Village of Penn Yan's unanimous approval of an annexation petition for a major housing development planned by the Finger Lakes Economic Development Center (Yates County IDA), the Town of Milo unanimously denied the annexation.

KEUKA LAKE - After several years without sufficient cold, areas of Keuka Lake are now safe enough for ice fishing with 5-6 inches thickness as of Monday. Anglers braved the cold and have reported good catches.
