Fire ravaged Naples distillery to open tasting room in historic Main St. building

NAPLES — Hollerhorn Distilling, which earlier in the year sustained a devastating fire at its distillery, may soon have a tasting room in the village of Naples. The Naples Historical Society has sold its property at 101 South Main St., near the intersection with Mill Street, where the so-called “tin shop” and Beth Flory Park are located.

The Grant Postmaster had a pole raising at Himrods, last Saturday, attended by sixty-seven men, eleven of whom were supporters of Greeley, eighteen young lads (minors), and thirty women and children. Speeches were made by M.H. Lawrence, D. Morris, and H. Struble. Morris, we understand, availed himself on the occasion to assail the motives of several of the Greeley men of Penn Yan, alleging that their support of Mr. Greeley was due to disappointment in office-seeking.

Two great events coming up on the Keuka Outlet Trail

As demolition crews continue their important work of removing the old, derelict manufacturing and milling facilities that have hugged Cascade Falls for nearly two centuries, Friends of the Outlet, Inc. (FOTO) is busy finalizing plans for the second annual Celebrate Cascade on Sept.18 and also introducing a new Octoberfest Volksmarch, a German-themed community walk on Oct. 23. Both events are free, family-friendly, and will give trail users the chance to appreciate the fall foliage while enjoying live music, an assortment of refreshments and other activities.

Larzelere and Tapia wed

Paul T. Larzelere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey J. Larzelere of Bluff Point, and Celina Nicole Mendoza Tapia, daughter of Mr. Julio Prieto of Argentina and Mrs. Maria Angélica Tapia Nova of Concepcion, Chile, South America, were wed in a civil ceremony in Concepcion, April 8, 2022.
