Jan. 31 Pal-Mac 56, Penn Yan 31 PYA lost to Pal-Mac, who were tied with Newark at 8-2 for the top spot in the Finger Lakes East. Penn Yan was 3-12 with the loss and 1-9 in the FLE. Pal-Mac was led by Ian Goodness and Ethan Ely, who each brought in 13 points. For the Mustangs, Matt Tones, Liam Chapman and Tanyon Dunning scored seven points apiece.

PENN YAN/ DUNDEE - Recently, the Section V All-Stars were named for the 2022 Football season. In Class C, Carter Earl, who played starting quarterback for Penn Yan/Dundee in the 2022 season, won Offensive Player of the Year. Defensive Player of the Year was awarded to Attica’s Case Hill. Attica’s head coach Jeff Cusmano was named Coach of the Year for Class C.
